Carrying us reliably across rivers of traffic and water, concrete bridges, whether cable-stayed or reliant on pillars, have been levaraging the certainty of concrete and steel for decades. Here's some of the views from and of them.

Any other comments:
I wanted to give a special shoutout to the Dames Point Bridge in Jacksonville above the St. Johns River, as it occupies the oldest and one of the most recent spots in the photo album. It has been carrying the Interstate 295 Beltway since 1989, after all. You may have also noticed an abundance of photos of this one particular bridge from a bridge above it at sunrise. This specific bridge is the Veterans Parkway Bridge, carrying the county-maintained Veterans Parkway above the Little Ogeechee River. Back when my bus route took me over it, I had the privilege to see the sun reflect across the water every morning (if I was awake). For more photos taken there, see The Golden Hour photos.
If you are ever at all curious and want to ask a question about a camera, a location, my experience somewhere, or want to double-check your usage rights, by all means, feel free to contact me! I genuinely love nerding out about stuff like this.
